The team

VNOTES was founded by a Veteran and two military spouses to translate military training for employers. Collectively, we have more than 25 years of experience with the military and military life.  We know the military institution is complicated and consequently Veterans are often under-utilized and misplaced within the corporate sector.  We have combined our experience and knowledge, along with copious amounts of research into Department of Defense policy to enable employers to easily understand where a Veteran fits into their organization.

Founder

Leigh, a military spouse of 15 years, is passionate about living the American Dream and wants to enable Veterans who transition out of the military to find and live their American Dream in the corporate sector.  Leigh founded VNOTES because as President of the 501(c)(3) non-profit America’s Career Force, a charity dedicated to promoting remote careers for military spouses, Leigh realized employers needed assistance in translating Veteran resumes.  Leigh used her background in research and law to create the VNOTES resources and services to educate companies on how military training translates into the corporate sector.
